St.John the Baptist School is a Christian minority school under the Management of the CMC Sisters, a religious order founded in Kerala in 1866, established to impart education, especially to women and children. Ever since its origin, the Sisters have been active in the field of education. The lives of many young girls and boys, belonging to different classes and religious communities and linguistic groups, are being shaped and moulded in these institutions...
SALIENT FEATURES
1 To provide appropriate education for up to twenty students within the five to sixteen years age band, who are unable to attend mainstream education, and may have emotional, social and behavioural difficulties and other associated learning difficulties.
2 To help students develop confidence in their ability to access and succeed in education.
3 To give the
children access to a broad and balanced curriculum including the National
Curriculum, Religious Education and Personal, Social, Health and Cultural
Education.
